Honeycomb composite panels are a high-strength, lightweight material that offers efficient mechanical performance. Our lightweight panels are an excellent alternative to monolithic materials (e.g., solid aluminum, wood, and steel) and other composites with core materials such as plywood, balsa, or foam.
Available in a wide range of dimensions and variations, our honeycomb composite panels are custom designed for use in many common applications and processes. They can be engineered to meet specific defined strength and stiffness requirements.

Construction
Plascore honeycomb composite panels provide a flat, rigid, stable structure for use as a substrate for metal, glass, stone and other decorative surfaces. Applications for these products include wall and ceiling cladding, facades and elevators.

Honeycomb Cores
Aluminum Honeycomb
Aluminum honeycomb is a core material used to manufacture composites that have a low density relative to their strength and good corrosion resistance for aerospace, transportation, mechanical engineering or architectural applications. The aluminum honeycomb can be supplied in perforated version.
Aramid Honeycomb
Aramid honeycomb is a non-metallic honeycomb core made from a fiber-reinforced paper of meta or para aramid fiber and coated with a heat-resistant phenolic resin. Aramid honeycomb core is used in aerospace applications and in a variety of industrial applications.
Stainless Steel Honeycomb
Stainless steel honeycomb is known for its increased resistance in aggressive environments and due to this attribute it is used in doors, end walls and floors of rail vehicles, among others.
This stainless steel honeycomb core is made of 301 or 304 stainless steel alloy foil.
Thermoplastic Honeycomb
Polycarbonate and polypropylene honeycomb cores have a unique cellular structure and excellent corrosion resistance.
These thermoplastic honeycomb cores are ideal for composites but also for applications where media such as air, light or water need to be placed in a laminar directed flow.
